Tocaya Organica Continues Relentless Expansion With Beverly Center Location
Published by Eater Los Angeles
Healthy-living brand Tocaya Organica will join the culinary lineup at the Beverly Center this summer. The hospitality company owned and operated by Tosh Berman and Amrou Manaseer has massive expansion plans for the modern Mexican concept that utilizes locally-sourced organic ingredients.
Perhaps the splashiest upcoming opening of the bunch is the 4,000 square feet branch that will debut in the completely revamped mall. Like neighboring Cal Mare, Tocaya Organica will be located on the street level, but near the Third Street valet. This places it just a short walk from the Madera Group’s flagship upscale eatery Toca Madera.
Keeping in line with the outlets in Venice, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Playa Vista, the Beverly Center restaurant will boast a breezy indoor/outdoor space marked by natural materials and neutral colors. Tocaya Organica should become popular with shoppers looking for a plant-centric meal of salads, tacos, bowls, and burritos that can be topped with a choice of grass-fed meat, free-range chicken, and fresh fish.
Beyond the summer Beverly Center opening, The Madera Group plans to expand its empire to include 16 locations by 2018 throughout Southern California and beyond. Tocaya Organica will join the upcoming Yardbird, the recently-opened Eggslut, and restaurants by Michael Mina and Ayesha Curry later this year.
